About us

Animals have always been a very important part of my life! When I was 6 years old I fell in love for the first time when Karlo the cat entered my world. 12 years later Amun the cat and another year later Loui the cat came into my life. My Siamese cat Leyla is with me for 11 wonderful years now. She is my biggest inspiration and also my most important employee while testing the quality of my products. Recently our guidance dog Ramses completed the family!

Jana Leyla Designs started when I decided to fulfil one of my long-term dreams: putting my creativity and my passion for animals together. After many months of preparation the time has finally come - my own brand is ready to go and will hopefully make a lot of pets and their owners just as happy as me!

What makes my products unique?

• My bandanas are fastened with 100% recycled textile yarn made of superior quality recycled textile selvedges and remnants from the European fashion industry
• This way of fastening enables the perfect fitting for your fur baby; even if it's still growing or losing some weight
• Every single Bandana ordered is carefully hand made, so every item I send out is a unique piece only made for you
• For packaging and shipping I only use plastic-free and fully biodegradable materials

It is a matter truly dear to my heart to not only create bandanas that look great, but also to make a positive contribution to our environment. My goal is therefore to avoid unnecessary waste and to integrate sustainable packaging options. 

My mailers are made from grass paper, more precisely from a mixture of local forest grasses plus meadow grasses and recycled paper / cardboard (in short: waste paper).

All orders are lovingly packed by hand, also by using plastic-free and biodegradable packaging material only. Aditionally, shipping within Germany is 100% climate-neutral.
